Lina Botai

Born in Saint Martin, Lina grew up surrounded by ocean light, warm air, and a mix of cultures that shaped her natural sense of freedom and expression. At a young age, she moved to South Africa, where her world expanded completely — from island simplicity to the intensity and beauty of Cape Town’s landscapes. Between these two worlds, she developed a unique balance: softness from the Caribbean and quiet strength from Africa. Even as a child, she was always active, observant, and deeply connected to movement, style, and energy, without ever realizing it would one day define who she becomes.

At age 9, Lina moved from Saint Martin to South Africa, a major shift that exposed her to a completely new culture, environment, and way of life. This transition taught her adaptability and independence at a young age. During her teenage years in Cape Town, she experienced a period of self-discovery where she became more aware of identity, confidence, and the power of physical expression. Sports and outdoor activities slowly became her personal outlet for balance and discipline. At 16, she went through a phase of emotional and personal transformation, where she began to understand the importance of mindset, routine, and self-care. This is when her connection to fitness and body awareness truly started to form. After finishing school, she spent time between different environments, reconnecting with her Caribbean roots while maintaining the disciplined lifestyle she had built in South Africa. This duality strengthened her identity and shaped her aesthetic and personality. Eventually, this blend of cultures, discipline, and self-expression led to the creation of Lina Fit — not just as a persona, but as a representation of balance between softness, strength, and confidence.
